Testing  Testing  Testing 

Last week I decided to do a test in one of those traffic exchanges. I wanted to find new ways to build my email lists. I wanted to see if I would get any responses from the people that surf in these exchanges. So decide to create a page offering a free Affiliate masters course with every sign up. I would have this rotating in the traffic exchange for people to see. 

I must admit I wasn’t expecting any huge responses. But this is what happened. I bought 1000 hits for $6.00 and broke it up over 5 days for 200 hits a day. The first day I received 2 confirmations for sign ups. About what I expected. The second day I received 10 more conformationals. Ten sign ups for 200 hits, this was more than I expected.  At the end of the week I had a total of 34 new sigh ups for my e-mail list. 

I must admit I was quite surprised to receive that many sign ups from a traffic exchange. But this goes to show that you should always try new things. Running a business is about being creative and always testing new ways to generate leads and profits. I had recently step away from this and just now started testing new ideas again. 

I am going to continue to test this traffic exchange. I going to change the page around and try to target specifically the people that are surfing in these exchanges. Fore the cost of six dollars I received 34 interested sign ups. Definitely worth the six dollars. I will keep tweaking and playing around with the page and let you know my results
