Establishing your online credibility is very important to building a successful online business. Your credibility in the Internet world is your lifeline to success. It’s like applying for a job. You could have the knowledge and education but if you don’t have good references you likely to be passed over. I find this to be even truer in the Internet world.

Good information (content) is key for developing your reputation and Building your online business. You should pack your Website with useful, usable information that your visitor or readers can use in a constructive way. Having a blog on your Website is an excellent way to add good content. You should post to your blog on a regular basis. Stay on target with your posts. The whole idea is to declare your expertise in the area you are promoting. I would not turn your post in to sales pitch this could be a big mistake; you want to give good usable information to your readers.

You have all herd about article marketing. This is a great way to establish your credibility. There is a write and wrong way to use article sites. I was recently on an article sight where I was reading some articles and what I found was very disappointing. They started out with good information and quickly turned in to a sales pitch. This ruined the whole thing, it turned me off. I recommend just giving info on your subject and leaving one link that says for more information go here. Article sites are about creating your Credibility and declaring your expertise in you subject are, not selling.

Like any other business this will take time. But the steps you take today will define your future in anything that you do. Take the time to create a good solid credible foundation on with you can build your business. In the end all we have is our reputation

One of the most exciting thing about the Internet is that everyone has an opportunities to build a website business. Every one has a skill talent passion or knowledge base about something. The best part of this is taking what you already Know and turning that into a thriving business. You can really build a website business that is uniquely your own. So how do we do this? 

Lets start out by saying that I am Anti get rich programs. I don’t believe in the get rich programs. What I do believe in is that you can make money on the Internet by building a website business. What if I told you that you could build a professional website and drive 1000”s of willing people to your site that are seeking your information. Yes it is possible and many people do this. Remember you goal is to build a website business so it will take work and little bit of time but will all be worth in the end. 

What you need to do is build a content rich informative website. Your goal is to provide information that people on the Internet are seeking. Remember that the Internet is worldwide and there are billions of people using the Internet to find information and solutions about their topic. The truth is that content sells this something all Internet marketers and entrepreneurs agree on. 

There are a few more steps before this but lets focus on content. For example you are reading this article because you have an interest in or want to Build a website business. My job is to give you that information. The content of the topic you choose is based around your keywords or phrases. This is how information is ranked on the Internet. Lets use a sample topic like Golf. This is a very broad topic. So when you do a search for golf everything about golf shows up. We need to break this topic done a little 

Lets break it down into a niche (Top 100 golf courses in America). This topic is more specific. You now make it easer for your target visitors to find you. If you use your key word phrase properly can potentially have 1000,s of people visiting your site looking for that information.

Building your Affiliate Marketing mailing list

Testing  Testing  Testing 

Last week I decided to do a test in one of those traffic exchanges. I wanted to find new ways to build my email lists. I wanted to see if I would get any responses from the people that surf in these exchanges. So decide to create a page offering a free Affiliate masters course with every sign up. I would have this rotating in the traffic exchange for people to see. 

I must admit I wasn’t expecting any huge responses. But this is what happened. I bought 1000 hits for $6.00 and broke it up over 5 days for 200 hits a day. The first day I received 2 confirmations for sign ups. About what I expected. The second day I received 10 more conformationals. Ten sign ups for 200 hits, this was more than I expected.  At the end of the week I had a total of 34 new sigh ups for my e-mail list. 

I must admit I was quite surprised to receive that many sign ups from a traffic exchange. But this goes to show that you should always try new things. Running a business is about being creative and always testing new ways to generate leads and profits. I had recently step away from this and just now started testing new ideas again. 

I am going to continue to test this traffic exchange. I going to change the page around and try to target specifically the people that are surfing in these exchanges. Fore the cost of six dollars I received 34 interested sign ups. Definitely worth the six dollars. I will keep tweaking and playing around with the page and let you know my results

I was recently looking for a good simple contact form that I could add to my website.  I came across a great little form that is free and you can add to any website with relative ease. Its called Visitor Contact.  A great little customizable contact form or Button

Its exactly what I needed. I need a form that would display my phone email and address.  It also gives a map of the location of your business. The form gives two options for installation. you can have the form installed writ on your site or you can have a floating tag that will display contact on it at the top, bottom. or sides of your website.

This is great if you dint want to add another tab to your menu. It is easily available and accessible and gives your visitors the ability to share or ask questions with ease. You can customize the colors to match your website them and you can create it one for many different sites

If you are just starting out as an Affiliate marketer there are some key ingredients that you should look for in a affiliate program. When you sign up for an affiliate program they are going to give you a few links that you can use. Your affiliate link,  banner links and others. The most important link you want to look at is the Landing page. This is the page that you go to after clicking the link.  A good sales page is important, this is where the customer you referred is going to buy. There is an easy way to tell if the sales page is good. Read through the sales page and ask your self one question. Would you buy this product or service your self. Did the page convince you to buy.  This will give you your answer.

With this tool you can see what works and what doesn’t work. With this information you can adjust you campaign strategies accordingly. I would be careful if the program doesn’t have this tool. Not all Affiliate programs are honest. If there is no sales tracking, I would stay away from that program.

Most programs will offer you marketing material in the form of text links and banners. That’s all good but the better programs will offer Videos and free items to offer your customers. The more diverse the marketing materials the better the program will be. If they have a lot of different marketing material and information this shows that they are taking a very high active part in there affiliates. This always a good sign.

I save the best for last. How are you going to get paid. This of course is the most important. you have to look at there payment structure. Do they pay weekly ,bi weekly or monthly. Is there a minimum low payment. For example do you have to accumulate $100 in sales before the pay you, or do they have options for you like 25 or 50 dollar payouts. look to see if there are different payment options such as a Papal direct deposit. I prefer pay pal or a mailed check.

Make sure they have a good sales page and have great marketing material that you can use effectively.They should have a sales tracking program so you can track your progress.They should also have a good payment plan that fits your needs. If they have these 4 quality you have found a good affiliate program
